We are now Home Owners!

Well we bought a house... moved in 4 days ago, and I am still working on the unpacking process. Things are coming together nicely enough, although we do not have enough furniture to fill the place. (all things come in good time) -- or something like that.

I am going to need a few things (alot of things actually) -- I am thinking since we just bought a new refrigerator (big money), we can add a few small things (towels for the extra bathrooms, for example) and then work on a bit of new furniture for the rest of it (again, slowly).

Dog and Cat are both adapting (dog is adapting much faster, and has claimed the back yard by marking the perimeter). The cat is warming up to his new digs (slowly) but I think he is a little freaked out and he hides (under the comforter of the bed) a lot of the time. (This is a new habit for him). I think that as we get more and more of the familiar stuff out and in place he will feel better, even if it is not "where it belongs" in his mind. Dogs are definitely more adaptable than cats, and our cat is definitely less than pleased with our decision to uproot him and relocate (too bad-so sad, sorry about your luck).

We still have quite a bit of unpacking and setting up to do, but so far even that has been fun. I don't know how much longer (days - weeks) the fun of unpacking will last, but I am hoping that I don't run out of ambition before everything is in place.

I must get back to work. Maybe I'll get around to posting a few pictures soon.
